The Nienhuis Montessori brand has been established in 1929 by Albert Nienhuis, a business associate of Maria Montessori's company, in order to assist Maria to produce tools and toys, which would express her vision of the teaching process. Children have a natural urge to learn and improve and an opportunity needs to be provided for them to do this of their own free will. Children toys of the Nienhuis Montessori line create a space for the kids to independently discover the world. Only the best materials have been used in production of the toys, they were manufacture with love and attention to details, with determination and care. Nienhuis combines crafting skills and technology, that had over 85 years to get polished to perfection.
In 1975, in the United States, a new distribution centre has been launched. Its main focus were the customers of the Montessori brand in North and South America. Nienhuis Montessori has been officially approved by the International Montessori Association (AMI). For decades, it has been cooperating with leading figures in the field of education. Adhering to the vision of the Montessori brand, this branch develops tools to create stimulating and educational environment, where the child is always the main focus point.
