Island of Hope, Rusinga Island

The main goal of the project is to create a self-sufficient and sustainable community center that would provide very poor people and children from the Kamasengre area on Rusinga Island with access to quality education with respect, and basic medical care, it would ensure a new home to meet all basic needs of orphans and abandoned children. Last but not least, it would set an example of how to improve living conditions through the use of sustainable technologies and mutual cooperation and solidarity.
