Ekocentrum Huslík, Poděbrady

Ekocentrum Huslík is a place where animals are treated and from where animals can return to nature. It is a place for educating children and spreading a positive approach to nature conservation.

The main focus of the ecocentre is environmental education of kindergartens, primary schools and general public.

The outdoor areas of the ecocentre include an exposition of permanently handicapped animals, a didactic playground for children, a fireplace, educational boards, educational elements (beetle house, herb spiral, insect hotel, bumblebee house, flower beds), wooden shed with seating, bread oven and stove, orchards of old fruit varieties, a meadow included in the natural monument Choťánecké louky, and beehives.

The basic idea is that if we have respect for the place where we live, we will be closer to nature and its protection.
